What is AIESEC?

The organizer of the project Career Days is the organisation called AIESEC.

AIESEC is a global, non-political, independent, not-for – profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. The main aim is to develop potential of young people so as to have a positive impact in society.

Towards this aim, we run more than 350 conferences, provide 4000 international internships and offer more than 5000 leadership opportunities to our members each year.

AIESEC presents in over 1 100 universities in over 100 countries and territories.

Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management.

Our impact:

Our international platform – ENABLES – young people to discover and develop their potential to provide LEADERSHIP for positive impact on society.

Within the Czech Republic there are 9 AIESEC offices mainly at economic universities.

AIESEC activities:

international exchanges – thanks to international exchanges we help students and graduates to find international experience, find a new culture, broaden their horizons and get integrated into their local culture as deep as possible.

projects:

o Career Days – nationwide meeting of the most distinguished companies in the Czech Republic and university students. The meeting intends to establish mutual collaboration in the field of job search, temporary fellowship and thesis topics. It provides a complex solution to the recruitment of students and creation of company image.

o tvojekariera.cz – a web portal provided and administered by AIESEC in the Czech Republic. The intention of the portal is to build up contacts between the companies and university students.

o The Most Desired Company –annual research on students‘ visions of their potential employer, carried out since 1994. Organized in cooperation with the „Employer of the Year“ project and Tambor agency.

Conferences – organized mainly for the fulltime AIESEC members. The main aim of those conferences is to develop various practical skills, leadership abilities and experience true international environment during their university study.
